Whether you're just spending the night as you travel
through Western Montana, or you've just arrived for
your wilderness adventure, you’ll stay in your own comfortable
lakeside cabins. Modern yet rustic, our cabins have
two queen size beds, showers, vanities,
refrigerators, and coffee pots.
Down the hill from
the cabins, the hot tub awaits you. It’s tucked
back in the aspen trees along the shore of Lake Upsata, but it still offers a beautiful view of the
evening sunset. What a perfect way to end a busy
day!

Nobody leaves Lake
Upsata hungry! This is one of our favorite mottos.
We pride ourselves in going the extra mile at
mealtime. Our high country cuisine is quickly
becoming regionally famous!
Your day always
begins with a hearty breakfast, straight from the
griddle. We set up a buffet of cereals, fruits,
breads, juices, hot
coffee, and the cook is always whipping up something
special in the back. One day it might be
pancakes, or quiche, or fry potatoes and
eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, French toast… who knows?
We guarantee you’ll be fueled up for a busy day.
If you have reserved
the lodge for a reunion, business retreat, or a
special group occasion, you won't be disappointed. Dinners are served
‘family style,' beginning with appetizers. Try one
of our Montana brewed
micro-beers, or a variety of domestic wines. We might
serve anything from barbequed ribs
to grill-broiled steak, stuffed manicotti to baked
salmon. We surround all of our entrees with salad,
pasta, bread and potatoes. Vegetarian? Allergies? No
problem! Just give us a call ahead of time. It’s a regular paradise of Montana
High Country Cuisine.

famous Bob Marshall Wilderness while you enjoy

Western bar.
We serve a variety of wines and locally brewed
Montana beers for a true taste of the West.
The lodge is a great place to unwind after dinner.
